Five photographs of a city that would not stand still.
Before it had a name, it had already disappeared. Something wearing a body crossed the red. A distant blue remembered a place that never existed. The night folded itself inside out, and somewhere, a small sun was born without permission. For a moment, nothing belonged to its shape. Not the streets. Not the light. Not even the ones passing through. Perhaps none of it happened. Perhaps this is what remains when the world forgets to hold still.
I wasn't looking for Berlin.
I made these photographs during the summer of 2026.Everything you see was really there. The lights, the streets, the people passing through. But I wasn't interested in showing Berlin as we normally recognize it.I wanted to see what would happen if I stopped asking the world to stand still for a photograph.What happens when a person becomes a shadow? When a street becomes a colour? When something that existed for just a fraction of a second becomes something you can return to?Sometimes a figure remains.
